1Your rights come first
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are always entitled to a refund, repair or replacement if a service has a major failure — and that applies no matter what the rest of this page says. What follows is what we do on top of that.
2The listing fee
Businesses pay a one-off listing fee. It is charged after a listing passes review, not when it is submitted — so a listing we turn down is never charged for in the first place.
- Before your listing goes live
- Full refund, no questions. If you have paid but changed your mind, ask us and we will reverse it.
- After your listing goes live
- No refund. The fee buys publication, and publication has happened. You can take your listing down at any time, but the fee is not returned.
- If we take your listing down for breaching our terms
- No refund.
- If we take your listing down for a reason of our own
- Full refund. If we withdraw a listing that was doing nothing wrong, you get your money back.
3The unlock fee
Buyers pay a one-off fee to accept an NDA and read a listing’s full details. The moment payment clears, you have the information — it cannot be handed back.
- Ordinarily
- Not refundable. Unlocking buys you information and an introduction; it does not buy a guaranteed deal, a reply from the other side, or an outcome you like.
- If the listing turns out to be materially misleading
- Tell us, with specifics, within 14 days of unlocking. If we agree it is misleading, we refund you in full and take the listing down.
- If the listing owner never responds
- Tell us after 14 days of silence. We will chase them once. If there is still no reply we will normally refund you — we are selling an introduction, and an introduction to somebody unreachable is not one.
- If something technical went wrong
- You paid and never got access, or you were charged twice. Full refund, or we fix the access — your choice. This is the clearest case and we do not argue about it.
4What a refund does to your access
A refunded unlock ends your access to that listing’s full details straight away. The NDA you accepted continues to bind you — you have already read the information, and getting your money back does not un-read it.
A refunded listing fee takes the listing back off the site.
5Chargebacks
If you dispute a payment with your bank rather than asking us, access is withdrawn automatically while the dispute runs, and the NDA still binds you.
Please just ask us first. A chargeback costs us a fee whatever the outcome, takes weeks, and we would almost certainly have said yes.
6How to ask, and how long it takes
Email opportunities@globalgrowthportal.com with the reference number of the listing and what went wrong. We reply within five business days.
Approved refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Your bank usually takes five to ten business days to show it. Refunds include the GST you were charged.
7Fees changing
Fees can change. A change never affects a payment already taken, and never changes what a refund is worth — you get back what you actually paid, not the current price.
