Terms of Service

Global Growth Portal is operated by Mark William Daynard (ABN 84 892 449 249), trading as Global Growth Portal, of Victoria, Australia. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that operator, and “you” means the person or business using the site.

By creating an account you accept these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

Global Growth Portal is an introduction service. Businesses publish cross-border opportunities; other businesses pay to see the full details and then talk to each other directly.

We are not a party to anything you go on to agree with another user. In particular:

• We are not a broker, an agent, a financial adviser, a legal adviser, or an accountant, and nothing on this site is advice of any of those kinds.
• We do not verify the accuracy of what a business writes about itself. Listings are reviewed before publication for obvious problems — spam, incoherence, wrong category — not audited for truth.
• We take no commission or share of any deal that results, and we are not entitled to one.
• We do not hold funds between users, and we are not involved in any payment you make to another user.

Do your own due diligence. Unlocking a listing buys you information and an introduction. It does not buy you a verified counterparty.

You need a verified email address to list an opportunity or to unlock one. One account per person; keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.

You are responsible for everything done through your account. Give us accurate details and keep them current.

When you publish a listing you confirm that:

• Everything in it is true and not misleading, including by omission.
• You are entitled to offer what you are offering.
• You are not disclosing anyone else’s confidential information, and you own or are licensed to use everything you upload or write.

A listing goes through review before it is published. We may reject it, and we tell you why. A listing fee is payable after review passes and before the listing goes public — see the Refund Policy for what happens to that money.

We can take a listing down at any time if it breaches these terms, and we will tell you why. You can ask us to take yours down whenever you like.

A listing’s teaser is public. Its full details are not. To see them you accept a non-disclosure agreement and pay the unlock fee.

The NDA is a separate agreement between you and the listing owner, not between you and us. We record the exact text you accepted, the time, and the IP address you accepted it from, so that either side can prove later what was agreed. We keep that record even if your access is later withdrawn — withdrawing access does not undo the agreement you made.

Access is granted once payment clears, and lasts as long as your account does. We may withdraw it if the payment is reversed, if you break the NDA, or if you break these terms.

Unlocking a listing opens a private thread with its owner. Messages are visible to the two of you and, where we have a genuine reason — investigating a complaint, a legal obligation, or a security incident — to us.

Use it for the opportunity at hand. No spam, no marketing to people who did not ask, and nothing unlawful.

Current fees are shown before you pay, on the payment page. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST; the GST component is itemised on your receipt along with our ABN, so you can claim it.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Fees may change, but a change never affects a payment already taken or a checkout you already have open.

• Publish anything false, misleading, unlawful, or that infringes someone’s rights.
• Share, republish, or use full listing details for anything other than evaluating that opportunity. That is a breach of the NDA as well as of these terms.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract anything from the site.
• Try to get at another user’s account, data, or unlocked content.
• Use the site to send spam, or to collect contact details for a mailing list.

The site, its design and its wording are ours. What you write in your listing stays yours — you give us permission to display, store and distribute it as needed to run the service, including showing your teaser publicly and your full details to people who have unlocked it.

We aim to keep the site running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features, and we will give notice where a change materially affects something you have paid for.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, we limit it to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid for it.

Subject to that, we are not liable for:

• anything another user says, does, or fails to do — including a deal that goes badly, or a listing that turns out to be inaccurate;
• business losses: lost profit, lost opportunity, lost revenue, or loss of anticipated savings;
• a breach of an NDA by the other party to it.

Close your account whenever you like by asking us at opportunities@globalgrowthportal.com. Fees already paid are dealt with under the Refund Policy.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. NDA records and payment records survive closure — we are required to keep the second, and the first protects both sides.

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. If a change materially affects you, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts there have jurisdiction. This applies wherever you are — including if you are in Canada.
